A shady spot to spend a sunny afternoon
The Llawn is Mandoon Estate’s open-air and family friendly beer garden. Open Saturdays & Sundays as well as most public holidays, the venue offers a vast lawn space, as well as a naturally shaded deck complete with picnic tables. Guests can enjoy our full pizza menu, a fully serviced bar, and a deli catering to all with soft serve, slushies, a candy bar, picnic hampers and more.
Entertain the kids within our secure playground, or enjoy a family stroll down the hill to our jetty along the Swan River. We welcome groups of any size, with plentiful seating along our deck, as well as many spaces to set up with chairs, tables, and picnic rugs.
The Llawn does not take general bookings, however from September 2024, tables can be reserved through our Roast Lunches on the Llawn package. Follow the booking link to reserve your spot today! Alternatively, we recommend getting down nice and early to secure a spot.
Privately fenced function areas are also available with our “Long Table Lunches” packages, perfect for special or corporate occasions.

The Llawn beer garden bar opens in fine weather on Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 5pm.
Our relaxed picnic style menu is constantly changing, however it always includes a selection of cheeses, meats, salads, and other snacks, including options for the kids. We serve pizzas year round, and spit roast meats on the weekend.
Sorry, it’s strictly NO BYO food or drinks. Relax, enjoy the view and let us take care of the catering and drinks. We have plenty of delicious options for you to enjoy.
Yes, there is no charge for this. Unfortunately we are not able to cut or provide plates for you. Your other option is to give us 3 working days notice, and our very talented pastry chefs will bake a cake to your requirements. Please call 6279 0500 to arrange.
We do not take general bookings at the Llawn, and recommend getting down early to guarantee a spot. We are now taking bookings for September onwards for our Roast Lunches on the Llawn package. This is available for groups of 6 or more and include a reserved table. Book online through the booking link. We also offer various year-round packages for private area long table lunches that start from $72 per person. Get in contact with our events team to find out more.
It depends on the day. On weekdays when the Llawn garden bar and delicatessen are closed, you can order food and drink from the Homestead Brewery and enjoy it in the Llawn gardens. However, when the Llawn bar and delicatessen are open, which is every weekend and most of the school holidays, this option isn’t available.

Sorry, no. We are a family orientated venue and we’re sure you wouldn’t want small children cramping your celebrations. Same goes for 18th and 21st birthday celebrations.
If you no longer have your baby teeth, we ask you please leave the fancy dress costumes at home. Junior Spider Men and fairies however, are always welcome.
No, we are a non-smoking venue. There is a small area near our bike racks where you can have a cigarette, however as it is unlicensed you won’t be able to take your drink with you.
Sorry, no pets are allowed on Mandoon Estate. Your accredited service dog however, is always welcome.
Settle in for a long afternoon - you can order pizzas in the Llawn beer garden right up until 5pm. Or pick up something from the deli – all items are available until sold out.
Mandoon Estate does have its own jetty for guests to utilise. Restrictions may apply at certain times, so it’s a good idea to check ahead first to see if you will be able to use the jetty.

Sure. We want you to be comfortable, so feel free to set up your own chairs and rugs in the Llawn’s garden. You can also borrow our picnic rugs from the Llawn garden bar.
Our Cellar Door offers seated wine tastings by appointment for smaller groups, charged at $10 per person. Beer tasting paddles can be purchased at the bar at any time.
Sorry, you’ll have to leave the footy, soccer and cricket balls in the car. The Llawn is a busy area popular with families and we can’t risk ball games or activities that could break glass or cause injury.
