Join James Talijancich and Ryan Sudano as they host an informal wine tasting session paired with delicious bites. This is a rare opportunity to taste the very best in the Valley in an intimate and casual setting. Don’t worry about taking notes, this is purely for enjoyment.
Talijancich Wines- established in 1932- represents three generations of winemaker and have proudly achieved international recognition for producing some of the finest aged fortified wines in Australia. Succeeding from his father Peter, James Talijancich continues his grandfather’s legacy by tending the family vineyard’s old Shiraz and Verdelho vines, producing outstanding table with and fortified wines. James is a passionate advocate for biodynamic grape growing practices and using tradition methods of winemaking.
Mandoon Estate has made a considerable impression with its wines in a very short time. In 2008 the Erceg family purchased a 13.2ha site in Caversham in the Swan Valley, on a property that had been in the hands of the Roe family since its initial settlement in the 1840s. Construction of the winery was completed in time for the first vintage, in 2010. Winemaker Ryan Sudano has metaphorically laid waste to Australian wine shows with the quality of the wines he has made. Since '11 Mandoon has collected 158 gold medals and 72 trophies.
